  1. This is ATLAS/chemistry  V1.1 alpha  (06-aug-1992) 
  2.  
  3. - this will be distributed to a small number of people
  4.   please test and report bugs and suggestions to me
  5.  
  6. - It is tested on VGX and ELAN, it will not run on ENTRY-boards
  7.   and some applications will not run on G, GT and TG boards
  8.  
  9. - the demos will also run on Reality Engine, but not using the new
  10.   stereo features, if needed, the RE versions of the programms are
  11.   available.
  12.  
  13. - there are problems with stereo on ELAN with line and xray demo
  14.   this is fixed with 4.0.5 of the operating system
  15.  
  16. - to install just tar the contents of the tape, cd into the 
  17.   directory where the highres script file is located, and type
  18.   highres to start ATLAS. ATLAS now is based completely on Showcase 
  19.   and does not need any additional binary.
